Digital Engineer - CAD Support

The role

As a Digital Engineer - CAD Support, you will play a key role in delivering critical national security and infrastructure programmes. You will configure and maintain CAD systems for major projects, ensuring data integrity and supporting best practice across disciplines.

• Configure and support CAD software for major projects
• Guide users on best practice and model management
• Manage data across multiple disciplines, including audits and quality checks
• Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for software upgrades and new applications
• Produce and maintain project and function procedures

This is a full time role (35 hours per week) with hybrid working arrangements and a minimum of 2 days onsite.

Essential experience

• Extensive experience in Mechanical Design/Engineering
• Skilled in Autodesk Inventor & Vault for 3D CAD model and data management
• Strong problem solving and innovative mindset
• Knowledge of BIM standards (ISO19650)
• Experience with document/information management software

Qualifications

• BTEC National Diploma or higher in Engineering, or equivalent experience

Security Clearance

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
