We have an exciting opportunity for a talented Digital Design Engineer to join our growing design and development team in Edinburgh. In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop industry leading mixed signal SOCs for consumer markets and become part of an organisation that operates at the forefront of cutting edge technology. Responsibilities- Design and develop new digital circuit architectures on advanced process nodes.
- Work with systems, analog, physical design and verification engineers to ensure a fully specified, verified and correctly implemented design.
- Contribute to product definition, prototype evaluation, test development and product release to ensure that the ASIC can be manufactured, is competitive and meets the customers' requirements.
- Participate in project meetings and design reviews.
- Bachelor's, Master's or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering (or related discipline)
- Comprehensive understanding of digital circuit design in RTL using Verilog and SystemVerilog
- Knowledge and understanding of verification of block level digital designs
- Experience and understanding of synthesis and timing analysis of digital circuits
- Knowledge of design for testing and manufacturing
- Understanding and knowledge of high volume manufacturing processes
- An innovative, creative, lateral thinking problem solver
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to interpret results
- Strong diagnostic and analytical skills
- Strong ability to relay complex information and collaborate with diverse teams using high level communication skills
This position is based in our Edinburgh office. It is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work from home, depending on business needs. Candidates must live within a commutable distance or be willing to relocate.
Export control restrictions based upon applicable laws and regulations would prohibit candidates who are nationals of certain embargoed countries from working in this position without Cirrus Logic first obtaining an export license.
