Your Responsibilities

• Handle customer questions and queries via inbound and occasional outbound calls.
• Provide excellent customer service in compliance with internal processes and regulatory requirements.
• Promote our Digital Servicing options (Mobile app, Digital Messaging), helping customers understand benefits and overcome objections to build confidence online.
• Take ownership of customer complaints, resolve as many as possible at first contact, and escalate others appropriately.
• Run basic diagnostics to identify root causes of issues and provide feedback for seamless resolution.
• Ensure all customer details are accurately entered into our systems.
• Identify issues and potential issues, escalating to relevant teams such as incident management when necessary.
• Suggest process and service improvements and discuss these with your manager.
• Receive comprehensive training to support your success.

Skills and Experience

• Strong listening and written communication skills.
• Empathy for people in challenging situations.
• Ability to work effectively in a lively, fast-paced team environment.
• Attention to detail when inputting data into systems.
• Problem-solving skills to identify issues and find solutions.
• Positive attitude and excellent communication manner.
• GCSEs (or equivalent) at Grades A to C, including English and Maths.
• Experience in customer-focused roles and familiarity with laptops or desktop applications.
• Basic understanding of mobile app and website usage, including user security aspects.
