We are now seeking a Digital Content Development Lead to enhance our brand's digital storytelling through the creation of impactful visual and multimedia content. This role plays a key part in shaping how we present our brand narrative online, ensuring our digital channels are engaging, consistent, and visually outstanding.

About the Role

As Digital Content Development Lead, you will take ownership of the development, production, and management of all image and video content as part of our wider digital marketing strategy.

You will collaborate closely with our marketing, design, and content teams to create visually engaging multimedia assets that elevate our campaigns, enhance engagement, and strengthen our online presence across social and owned platforms.

This role suits a creative, proactive, and technically skilled content producer with a passion for visual storytelling, digital innovation, and brand building.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

Content Strategy and Development

  • Develop and execute visual content strategies aligned with marketing objectives, editorial calendars, and brand messaging.
  • Oversee the end-to-end production of video and image assets - from storyboarding and scripting to filming, editing, and post-production.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure visual content supports and enhances campaign goals across all channels.

  • Lead creative direction for photoshoots, video production, and multimedia campaigns.
  • Support live event coverage and adapt visual content for multiple formats - including short-form, long-form, and live video content such as reels and stories.
  • Coordinate with external photographers, videographers, and agencies where required for large-scale or specialist productions.

Performance and Optimisation

  • Monitor and report on visual content performance using analytics tools, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Stay up to date with emerging trends in photography, video production, and digital content innovation to ensure best-in-class output.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Minimum 3 years' experience creating, producing, and editing image and video content for digital marketing or social media.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, After Effects), Final Cut Pro, or equivalent.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating a range of multimedia projects and storytelling approaches.
  • Understanding of content optimisation, digital distribution, SEO fundamentals, and audience engagement strategies.
  • Excellent communication and creative storytelling skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills, capable of meeting deadlines and managing multiple priorities.
  • Experience using analytics tools to track content performance and inform creative decisions.
  • Proven ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within cross-functional teams.

Desirable Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in media production, visual arts, marketing, communications, or related field.
  • Experience with animation, motion graphics, or advanced photographic techniques.
  • Proven success collaborating with external production partners or creative agencies.
  • Portfolio showcasing impactful video projects and social campaigns that delivered measurable engagement.
