Main duties of the jobOverview of Role:
Towork as part of a team providing a full administrative service to ensure thesmooth operation of community based diagnostic clinics.
Thiswill involve dealing with referrals, booking new and follow up appointments,tracking patients through the system, recording data to monitor access timesand the maintaining of accurate records of clinics on the computerised PatientAdministration Systems.
To provide additional administrative support within the company asrequired.

Job responsibilitiesManagingpatient referrals and diagnostic bookings.
Scheduling,amending, and cancelling appointments.
Maintainingaccurate patient records on clinical systems e.g. S1, EMIS
Data entry andvalidation to ensure information is accurate and up to date.
Processingcorrespondence, reports, and clinical documentation.
Filing andmaintaining confidential records in line with GDPR and NHS informationgovernance requirements.
Answeringtelephone calls and responding to patient enquiries.
Communicatingappointment details, preparation instructions, and follow-up information.
Providing aprofessional and empathetic service to patients attending diagnostic services.
Liaising withpatients regarding appointment changes or service updates.
Managingshared inboxes and responding to routine enquiries.
Supportingrota coordination and clinic administration.
Assisting withgeneral office administration tasks and document preparation.
