Diagnostic Vehicle Technician (148948-IND)

Location Melton Mowbray, England Sector Automotive Salary £50,000.00 to £56,000.00 per annum

Our client, a reputable multi-franchise dealership located in Melton Mowbray, is seeking an experienced Diagnostic / Master Technician to join their modern, manufacturer-backed workshop. Duties:
  • Diagnose and repair complex electrical and mechanical faults efficiently and accurately
  • Conduct servicing, maintenance, and advanced repairs to manufacturer specifications
  • Perform electronic Vehicle Health Checks (eVHCs)
  • Complete all workshop documentation meticulously
  • Provide technical support and guidance to colleagues as needed
  • Ensure all work is carried out in a safe, clean, and organised environment
  • Continuously update technical knowledge through manufacturer training, including EV systems
  • Support the workshop with overall efficiency and customer satisfaction
Requirements:
  • NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent qualification in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
  • Proven experience as a Diagnostic Technician, Master Technician, or Senior Vehicle Technician
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
  • EV qualification advantageous but not essential (training provided)
  • Minimum of two years' workshop experience
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Positive attitude and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship
