We're partnering with a highly respected organisation operating in the national security sector to hire experienced DevOps Engineers for mission-critical projects.

The Opportunity
You'll be joining a multidisciplinary engineering team that works across secure government and defence programs, helping to build, test, deploy, and maintain high-quality software systems. • Supporting and optimising CI/CD pipelines
  • Containerising and orchestrating microservices-based environments
  • Troubleshooting complex issues across infrastructure, code, and security layers

  • Maintaining systems in live environments and responding to incidents
  • Ensuring security, observability, and scalability are embedded in solutions

  • Experience managing databases (SQL, NoSQL)
  • Exposure to legacy infrastructure and modernisation approaches
  • Performance tuning and workload scaling
Ways of Working

  • SRE principles and observability practices
  • Experience in mission-critical or highly regulated environments is advantageous
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
What's on Offer
  • Highly flexible hybrid working model
  • 25 days annual leave plus buy/sell options
  • Private medical, dental, and a generous pension scheme
  • Career development through internal coaching and learning platforms
  • Supportive team culture in a stable, high-performing sector
  • Bonus scheme and other discretionary benefits

Security & Eligibility Requirements
Due to the sensitive nature of these roles, an active eDV clearance is essential. Candidates must have a minimum of 5-10 years of continuous UK residency to meet vetting requirements.

About the Team
You'll be joining a collaborative, innovation-focused engineering team within a national security environment. The culture combines the scale and resources of a large organisation with the agility of small, close-knit delivery teams. Projects are long-term, meaningful, and offer opportunities to work with some of the brightest minds in secure software delivery.

Note: This position is with a long-standing defence and national security partner. Details about the end client will be disclosed during the screening process under appropriate NDAs and clearance protocols.
