DevOps Engineer - CI/CD Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and passionate DevOps Engineer with deep expertise in Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) and a strong background in open-source DevOps tooling. You will be a key player in scaling and securing our deployment pipelines across multi-cloud environments. Your role is critical in enhancing automation, observability, and developer productivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines using open-source tools such as: Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Argo CD, Drone, Tekton, or Spinnaker
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and environment configuration with Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
- Integrate code quality, test coverage, and security checks using tools like SonarQube, Checkmarx, Trivy, Coverity, and OWASP ZAP.
- Implement artifact repositories and version control with tools like Nexus, Artifactory, and Harbor.
- Build dashboards using Grafana, Prometheus, or ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) for Real Time monitoring and alerting.
- Deploy containerized workloads via Docker and Kubernetes, enabling dynamic, reliable test and production environments.
- Manage hybrid infrastructure on AWS, Azure, and/or GCP with security, cost, and performance optimization.
- Collaborate with engineers to promote an infrastructure as code and shift-left mindset across the SDLC.
- Continuously enhance delivery pipelines to support microservices-based and event-driven architectures.
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Build & Release, or Platform Engineering roles.
- Proficient in Scripting and automation using Python, Bash, Groovy, or similar.
Required Skills & Experience
- 3 - 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Build & Release, or Platform Engineering roles.
- Proficient in Scripting and automation using Python, Bash, Groovy, or similar.
- Deep knowledge of open-source CI/CD tools, including Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Spinnaker.
- Solid understanding of container orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience configuring GitOps pipelines and using tools like Argo CD or FluxCD.
- Comfortable with source control platforms like GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket.
- Experience with static/dynamic code analysis, unit/integration testing, and automated release processes.
- Familiarity with security and compliance requirements in CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience in setting up test automation workflows with JUnit, JMeter, Cucumber, or Selenium.
- Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
Desirable Skills
- Familiarity with API testing tools like Dredd, Postman, or REST Assured.
- Awareness of DevSecOps principles and security scanning tools like Trivy, Aqua, or Anchore.
- Knowledge of service mesh and observability tools like Istio, Linkerd, Jaeger, or OpenTelemetry.
- Experience with feature flagging tools such as Unleash or Flagsmith.
- Previous experience leading CI/CD implementations in Agile or DevOps transformation projects.
