Job Description

The Company

Our client is a market leading manufacturing company due to a sustained period of growth they are now looking to recruit a Development Technician.

The Role

Lamination of exterior films using hot-melt adhesives and primers.
Carrying out various material testing.
Evaluating and analysing pigments and developing pigment formulations.
Assisting with New Product Development and trials.
Using accelerated weathering cabinets to test samples in simulated conditions.
Will work on site 35.5 hours per week. Monday to Thursday: 9am - 5pm, Friday: 9am - 3pm.

The Person

Degree in Chemistry, Materials Science or Polymer Science (essential).
Knowledge of Colour Chemistry/Pigment Technology (desirable).
Experience of working in a laboratory environment (desirable).
Must have a full UK Driving Licence, be able to drive and have access to a car (essential).
A clear communicator and self-motivated.
