Job Description

Position: Development Project Manager

Salary: up to £65,000 + Car Allowance / Car + 10% Bonus + Fuel Card

Overview

A fantastic opportunity to work client side with a development company that specialises in the adult care sector who are seeking a Development Project Manager to oversee and deliver key property development projects across the UK.

This is a true development role working at both acquisition and planning stages through to onsite delivery. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced and growing sector managing a mix of projects from new build modular construction to conversion of an existing building.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the development of residential adult care properties, with a focus on modular construction and existing building refurbishment and re-configuration.
  • Oversee all stages of the project lifecycle from site identification to design, budget management, and construction delivery.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Property, Finance, Operations, and Maintenance) to ensure projects align with business objectives and budgets.
  • Present detailed cost reports and project updates to senior leadership.
  • Maintain frequent communication with third-party contractors and consultants to ensure best value for money and quality.
  • Lead the expansion of the property portfolio and contribute to strategic growth initiatives.
About You

We are looking for an experienced Development Project Manager that could come from a Building Surveying, Construction Cost Manager, or Project Manager background.

  • Proven experience managing large-scale property development projects, ideally in modular construction.
  • Strong analytical skills to present complex data to executive teams.
  • Ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment with multiple stakeholders.
  • Willingness to travel frequently across the UK.
  • Knowledge of the healthcare or mental healthcare sector would be advantageous but not essential.
