Development Coordinator

Permanent - Full Time - 37.5 hours

Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive, detail driven Development Coordinator to support the Development Manager in ensuring the timely progression of schemes from pre construction through to planning. The role will focus on guiding schemes through the pre development stage to the successful securing of planning permission, before handing over to the technical team to progress the detailed design.

Responsibilities

• Assist in management and timely progression of mixed tenure residential projects.
• Coordinate liaison with local authorities and other statutory bodies.
• Identify and manage risk through the production of risk registers.
• Oversee utility services searches, including obtaining budget quotations for new connections and diversions.
• Support coordination of the wider design team and specialist subcontractors, ensuring projects are well managed, risks are mitigated, and programmes remain on track throughout the early development stages.

Qualifications

• Residential new build experience in both private sale and social housing markets.
• Good knowledge of construction, materials, methods, and technology along with environmental legislation and issues.

• A full driving licence is required.
