Job Description
Role
- The DevOps Engineer will participate in the entire development lifecycle, including requirement analysis, system design, development, quality assurance, testing and deployment.
- Establish a digital environment and automate processes to minimize variation and ensure predictable high quality code and data. Ensure that high levels of automation are implemented and maintained across the teams.
- Hands on into daily work including troubleshooting the production issue; communicate well with the stakeholders concerned.
- Cultivate effective working relationships with global business users and other IT teams
- The DevOps Engineer, experienced in Agile and DevOps methodologies.
- Experience with core Java, Spring and design patterns;
- Experience with API development and Microservice framework;
- Experience on continual integration framework
- Experience with Unix including ability to analyse log files;
- Experience with RDBMS database;
- Experience on automation testing framework, like FitNesse, UFT and Selenium.
- Hands on Incident management and Production support.
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience with cloud/ GCP technology.
- Experience with the Vue.js/ React framework.
- Distributed global team setup exposure
- Global investment business - Leeds
- £650-£750 per day
- Hybrid
