Design Manager

A leading residential developer is seeking an experienced Design Manager to join their team in Louth. The successful candidate will oversee the design process from pre-construction through to project delivery, ensuring design programmes, technical coordination, and stakeholder requirements are effectively managed across residential developments.

Responsibilities

• Manage the design process from planning through construction delivery
• Coordinate architects, consultants, subcontractors, and internal project teams
• Review design information to ensure compliance with project requirements and regulations
• Monitor design programmes and ensure information is issued in line with construction schedules
• Identify and resolve design clashes and technical issues
• Manage design change and ensure effective communication between stakeholders
• Support project delivery teams with technical and design related queries
• Ensure high quality design standards are maintained throughout the project lifecycle

Requirements

• Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline
• Previous experience as a Design Manager or Design Coordinator within residential construction
• Strong understanding of Irish Building Regulations and construction processes
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary design teams
