Design Engineer (Electronics)

This position focuses on the design, development, and testing of high-frequency analog and digital electronic hardware and embedded processor firmware for ultrasound-based metrology instruments.

• Participate in the design and development of high-frequency analog and digital electronics.
• Develop firmware for embedded processors that directly control analog and digital electronic hardware via their GPIO pins.
• Build and test prototype products and production test fixtures.
• Trace design issues and bugs to their root causes and implement solutions.
• Help to create product documentation and specifications.
• Help to prepare assembly procedures and test plans for manufacturing products.
• Assist with sustaining engineering efforts for existing products.

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering required.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience with digital and analog circuit design.
• Familiarity with computer-controlled test equipment such as network analyzers, oscilloscopes, etc.
• Familiarity with Schematic Capture and PCB layout.
