Rate:£29.59ph Umbrella Co Basis (Inside IR35) Increasing to: £38.38 Ph Umbrella Co Basis after 13 Weeks Employment

Position Description

Design Engineer DTO

• Design feasibility and CAD engineering

Key Accountabilities

• Coordinate and support Feasibility and Design Process
• Design Feasibility Status, Hard points plan and Executive Summary
• Coordinate and support benchmark for technical solutions applicable to the attributed project
• In charge of the CAD design and development of highly complex components as single part and parts assembly with interdependent functionalities
• Coordinate and support technical communication with Design and all non-Design Departments
• Check incoming data from internal and external suppliers for compliance
• Ensure feasibility and appropriate dimensioning of the developed CAD data (e.g., strength, rigidity, cross-sections, centers of gravity, Masses, moments of inertia)
• Support the internal and constant process improvement in terms of CAD data timing and quality delivery
• Embrace cross-project development teams
• Coordinate and support the documentation and archives of the created CAD data
• Develop product presentations relative to the developed CAD data
• Responsible of storing, releasing and archiving in Team Center according to global processes. (Updating, maintaining and securing the data.)
  

Experience Required

• Experience in automotive exterior or interior design engineering

Education Required

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Transportation Design, or a related field
