Design Director - Graphics Graphics London

20.20 is an agency for people who want to set the bar in brand experience. We're looking for a talented Design Director (Graphics) to join our team.

You'll be someone our clients connect with and feel inspired by, with the creative freedom to set the vision, guide teams, and actively participate in bringing projects to life.

Responsibilities:

• Understanding client briefs and setting out an approach and team plan to help prepare commercial proposals.
• Interpreting clients' business objectives and 20.20's design strategy to create compelling and effective design solutions.
• Storyboarding and preparing client presentations - effectively communicating the brief, strategy, design story and narrative, across all creative disciplines.
• Inspiring clients and explaining how our design solutions will effectively enhance their business.
• Organising and managing more than one project in the same timeframe.
• Directing, inspiring and managing the project teams, both full-time & freelance.
• Reporting back to the business on progress, issues and future requirements.
• Liaising and managing other collaborating agencies, suppliers and contractors.

Qualities:

• Lacks ego - willing to do what it takes to deliver great work, allowing other team members to shine.
• An inspirational storyteller, great with clients, with strong consultancy skills.
• Good at mentoring and nurturing other team members.
• Great at managing personal workload and the team's workload to ensure projects are well organised - avoiding late nights and stressful deadlines.
• Understands other disciplines and integrates their input effectively into the project.
• Excellent knowledge of design related products and services, with the ability to manage complex client and supplier relationships.
• Has the required skills and expertise in relevant software to deliver to standards required and expected.
• Good time management and administration skills.

Project Ownership:

70% design, 30% team management and admin

Salary Expectations:

£55,000 to £65,000 based on experience
