Design Coordinator - MOD Building projects

Are you passionate about delivering high-quality design solutions and building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders? We're looking for a Design Coordinator to join our dynamic team in London Bridge. With a focus on Ministry of Defence building projects you will be contributing to the successful delivery of projects from inception to completion.As a Design Coordinator your responsibilities will include:

• Ensure designs comply with project documentation, client specifications, and statutory requirements.

• Review and approve consultant and subcontractor drawings for coordination.

• Coordinate 3D designs across disciplines using Revit, BIM360, and other tools, conducting clash detection.

• Oversee compliance with environmental certifications such as BREEAM, DREAM, and Passivhaus.

• Collaborate with factory and site teams to resolve technical issues.

• Manage Building Control applications and conduct site/factory visits.

• Lead Design Team Meetings, track actions, and manage design consultants.

• Produce construction site setup plans in AutoCAD and support information management in line with ISO 19650 standards.

Key Skills:

• A relevant degree (e.g., Architecture, Structural/Civil Engineering, Construction Management).

• Strong technical design background and experience with Revit and AutoCAD.

• Knowledge of RIBA Stages 4-5 and environmental certifications (BREEAM, Passivhaus, etc.).

• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust with stakeholders.

• A goal-oriented mindset with great attention to detail and a willingness to adapt and improve processes.
