Design and Technology Technician

The Role

We are like delighted to be advertising for a Design and Technology Technician to join our wonderful team here at KAA.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a fundamental part of the day to day running of the department. They will take responsibility for the technical support in the DT department through the preparation of equipment and materials for lessons, undertake a practical health and safety role and service machinery within the department. They will working closely with department teachers both within DT and the wider Performance and Creative Arts division to deliver a high quality curriculum to our students, enhancing their practical and creative skillset.

The role may suit an existing technician who is looking for experience in a contrasting school or a qualified arts teacher who is looking for a new challenge outside of classroom teaching.

The role is being offered on a permanent / 42-week contract (term time plus 3 weeks).
