Aspire People is looking for a creative and committed Design & Technology Teacher to join a dynamic secondary school in South West London. This is a fantastic opportunity to engage students in practical, hands on learning and help them develop problem solving and design skills across Key Stages 3 and 4.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Design & Technology lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
• Teach a range of DT disciplines, such as product design, resistant materials, or graphics.
• Encourage innovation, creativity, and practical application of design principles.
• Monitor student progress and provide clear, constructive feedback.
• Contribute to school projects, exhibitions, and extracurricular activities within the department.

Requirements

• QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Degree in Design & Technology, Product Design, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience teaching DT at KS3 & KS4.
• Strong workshop safety awareness and classroom management skills.
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
