Part time position to commence immediately. We are appointing a dedicated and enthusiastic Design & Media Support Officer to provide operational support in the preparation of visuals and media as a member of the Communications and Engagement team. This role focuses on routine event photography, short-form video capture and templated design execution to support brand visibility and community engagement. The role is offered on a part-time basis (0.6) with flexible rostering across five school days.
Responsibilities- Capture routine photography at College events, activities and community initiatives
- Prepare and edit photo and video assets for publication as directed
- Produce templated design materials including posters, social tiles and internal promotional graphics using approved brand templates
- Capture short-form video content suitable for digital platforms
- Resize and adapt campaign assets across platforms as required
- Assist with preparation of print-ready files under the guidance of the Senior Designer
- Organise and maintain the digital asset library, ensuring correct naming and storage protocols
- Provide event-based media support, including out-of-hours coverage as required
- Support the rollout of campaign materials across digital and print platforms
- Undertake other duties as required by the Communications Manager or Principal
- Current Positive Working with Children Check or ability to obtain
- Degree/Diploma qualifications relevant to the position
- Experience capturing photography and short-form video content, ideally within events, community, education, or organisational environments
