We are looking for an experienced and motivated Registered Nurse to join our Minor Surgery and Dermatology team. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a supportive multidisciplinary environment, delivering high-quality care to patients requiring dermatological assessment, treatment, and minor surgical procedures.

In this role, you will provide specialist nursing care, contribute to service development, and support safe, efficient patient pathways. You will play a key part in ensuring excellent clinical outcomes and a positive patient experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality, evidence-based nursing care within Minor Surgery and Dermatology clinics.
  • Assist with and independently undertake a range of minor surgical and dermatological procedures (within scope of practice).
  • Perform skin assessments, phototherapy, topical treatments, and patient education.
  • Support diagnostic pathways, including biopsies, and treatment planning.
  • Coordinate patient flow to ensure efficient use of clinic time and resources.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and support audit and quality improvement work.
  • Act as a clinical resource for junior staff and contribute to their learning and development.
  • Work collaboratively with consultants, GPwERs, ANPs, and MDT colleagues.
  • Assist SCN with day to day running of the department, taking charge in her absence.
What We're Looking For
  • Registered Nurse (NMC).
  • Significant post-registration experience, ideally within dermatology, minor surgery, outpatients, or another relevant specialty.
  • Strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to work autonomously.
  • Excellent communication and patient-centred care skills.
  • A proactive approach to service improvement and multidisciplinary working.
  • Willingness to undertake additional specialist training as required.
