Job Description

Dermatology Patch Testing Nurse Join our dedicated Dermatology team and help reduce NHS waiting lists with expert care.

Are you an experienced Dermatology Nurse with a passion for patch testing and skin care? We are currently looking for skilled and enthusiastic nurses to join our Patch Testing service, working alongside a highly experienced clinical team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the diagnosis and management of contact dermatitis and other skin conditions, while developing specialist skills in a collaborative environment.

Main duties of the job
  • Support the full patch testing process, including application, reading, and interpretation in line with clinical protocols.
  • Assess, plan, and evaluate individual care plans for patients undergoing patch testing.
  • Provide clear patient education on the patch testing procedure and aftercare.
  • Collaborate closely with dermatology consultants and the wider multidisciplinary team.
  • Deliver high-quality wound care and topical treatments where needed.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and follow up on patient results.

    • Minimum 2 years experience within outpatient settings
    • Currently practicing in Dermatology or has practiced within Dermatology for at least 6 months over the last 12 months.
