Job Description

You will be responsible for:

• Developing and implementing strategies to balance the bank's assets and liabilities effectively.
• Managing risks related to interest rate changes, currency fluctuations, and liquidity.
• Ensuring the bank maintains adequate liquidity to meet regulatory requirements and operational needs.
• Optimising capital allocation to support business growth while adhering to regulatory constraints.
• Providing reports and insights to regulators, auditors, and senior management.
• Evaluating the bank's balance sheet performance and identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Preparing detailed financial reports for executive leadership.
• Collaborating with other departments (e.g., risk, finance, and business units) to align balance sheet strategies with the bank's overall objectives.

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate will have:

• A strong background in treasury, finance, risk management, or banking operations.
• Expertise in regulatory frameworks and financial modelling.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities to guide teams and influence stakeholders.
• Knowledge and experience with ICAAP and ILAAP are essential.
