Our client is looking for a dedicated Deputy Service Manager to support the day-to-day running of a welcoming supported living service for younger adults.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a passionate team committed to empowering individuals to live as independently as possible while receiving high-quality, person-centred support.
Working closely with the Service Manager, you'll play a key role in leading the staff team, ensuring outstanding standards of care, and creating a positive environment where both the people you support and your colleagues can thrive.
This role offers a rewarding balance of leadership, mentoring, and hands on support.
What We're Looking For- Level 3 Health & Social Care qualification or above
- Previous experience as a Deputy Service Manager, Team Leader, or similar senior role within health and social care
- Experience supporting younger adults within a supported living or similar care setting
- Full UK driving licence
- Good understanding of safeguarding, person-centred care, and relevant legislation
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Passion for delivering high-quality support and promoting independence
- Up to £38,480 per annum

- Support the Service Manager with the day to day running of the supported living service
- Lead, motivate, and supervise the support team to deliver outstanding person centred care
- Promote independence, choice, dignity, and inclusion for the people using the service
- Ensure care plans and risk assessments are implemented and regularly reviewed
- Support staff through supervision, coaching, and ongoing development
- Ensure safeguarding, medication management, and health & safety procedures are consistently followed
- Build positive relationships with families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies
- Deputise for the Service Manager in their absence
