• Annual Salary: £33,500.89 FTE

• Job Type: Full-time, Fixed Term (until December 2026 with potential to extend)

Join our Technical College, a leading further education provider, as a Deputy Safeguarding Lead. This role is crucial in supporting the safety, happiness, and academic success of our students at our Weybridge campus. Day-to-day of the role:

• Implement and monitor effective safeguarding policies and procedures.
• Provide support and guidance to students experiencing difficulties, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
• Liaise with external agencies and professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for students.
• Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
• Deliver training and awareness-raising sessions on safeguarding and wellbeing.
• Develop and implement action plans to address identified risks.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience in a safeguarding or related role.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong understanding of child protection and safeguarding legislation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Passionate about supporting young people and promoting their wellbeing.
