Deputy Manager - Supported Living
Marston Green, Birmingham
£30,104.52 per annum + On-Call Payments
Full Time Permanent 37.5 Hrs Per Week

Are you an experienced care professional looking for your next leadership opportunity within Supported Living?

We are recruiting for a Deputy Manager to join a brand-new purpose-built Supported Living service supporting autistic adults to live independently within their own self-contained apartments.

Working alongside the Registered Care Manager, you will help lead the day-to-day running of the service, ensuring high-quality, person-centred support, compliance, safeguarding and positive outcomes for the individuals supported.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the overall management of the service
    Promote high standards of care and CQC compliance
    Lead and support staff teams across the service
    Conduct person-centred reviews and support planning
    Support safeguarding processes and professional communications
    Deputise for the Registered Manager when required
    Participate in the on-call rota

Requirements:

  • Experience within Supported Living, Autism, Learning Disabilities or Mental Health services
    Previous leadership or supervisory experience within care
    Good understanding of CQC regulations and safeguarding
    Experience supporting behaviours of concern
    Flexible to work across a 7-day rota including alternate weekends
