Deputy Manager / Assistant Manager

As the Deputy Manager, you will be fully accountable for the shop and the team in the absence of the Shop Manager. You will take on full management responsibility for operating and running a successful shop, while managing the team effectively. You will create a fun and enjoyable environment for all our customers and ensure every Paddy Power customer has a memorable experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the shop in the absence of the Shop Manager, ensuring smooth day to day operations.
• Build strong and lasting relationships with customers, gathering feedback and creating a customer focused culture.
• Use shop KPIs to identify opportunities and drive results, supporting the Shop Manager to create the best betting shop environment.
• Ensure the shop complies with Social Responsibility commitments and all operational procedures, including cash management.
• Encourage staff to share ideas for improvement, and maintain shop presentation standards.
• Mentor and coach the team to deliver excellent service both face to face and over the phone, while cross selling retail and online products.
• Adapt to changing situations and continuously look for ways to improve processes.
