Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the care team to ensure safe, supportive, and person centred care for residents.
  • Induct new team members and supervise existing staff.
  • Conduct care audits, trigger reviews and ensure good practice.
  • Liaise with families, care professionals, social workers and residents to provide holistic care.
  • Monitor, report and investigate risks or safeguarding concerns, implementing mitigation procedures.
  • Maintain accurate administrative records: daily care notes, medication charts and meeting minutes.
  • Support the Registered Manager in day to day operations and assume full responsibility in their absence.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Minimum 12 months right to work in the UK.
  • Prior experience of leading a team of care assistants (and Registered Nurses if clinical).
  • QCF Level 3 diploma or above in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
  • Good knowledge of the CQC key lines of enquiry and other regulatory frameworks.
  • Available to work 42 hours per week, including weekends.
  • Visa sponsorship not available.
