Deputy Manager - Children's Residential (EBD/LD) - Thorne - £16.00 per hour - Sleep-ins (£73) - Full-time Permanent

We're working with a high-quality, growing provider seeking an experienced Deputy Manager to support the leadership of a children's residential home in Thorne. This is a hands on role where you'll support the Registered Manager in delivering a safe, structured, and nurturing environment - stepping up to lead the home in their absence.

The Role

• Support the Registered Manager with day to day running of the home
• Lead shifts, supervise staff and ensure high standards of care
• Contribute to care planning, reviews, and case conferences
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with regulations
• Support with rota management, admin, and staff performance
• Promote a safe, therapeutic, and child centred environment
• Work flexibly across shifts, including evenings and weekends

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 2 years' experience in children's residential care
• Experience in a senior or supervisory role
• Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or working towards)
• Strong understanding of safeguarding and care standards
• Confident, resilient and able to make decisions under pressure
• Full UK driving licence (held 12 months)
