Deputy Maintenance Manager

Support the Maintenance department to manage the day-to-day operation, plus the management of 3rd party contractors and preventative maintenance plans. To ensure that all repairs, project work and preventative maintenance are carried out efficiently, to the highest standards and within the agreed budget. Maintain a standard commensurate with the Tylney Hall Hotel brand. This is a 'hands on role' and must ensure superlative standards of customer service in all areas of the operation.

• The Deputy Maintenance Manager supports the Maintenance Manager in ensuring that all buildings, facilities, equipment, and systems are maintained to a high standard
• Assist the Maintenance Manager in overseeing daily maintenance operations.
• Support the planning and coordination of preventive and reactive maintenance.
• Supervise and support maintenance staff and contractors.
• Ensure that maintenance work is carried out safely and in line with health and safety regulations.
• Conduct regular inspections of buildings, equipment, and facilities to identify maintenance needs.
• Assist in maintaining records of repairs, maintenance schedules, and compliance checks.
• Help manage maintenance supplies, tools, and equipment.
• Respond to urgent maintenance issues and coordinate timely repairs.
• Ensure compliance with statutory regulations such as fire safety, electrical safety, and building compliance.
