Position: Deputy Home Manager

Location: Plymouth
Salary: circa £54,000 pa

Our client offers a range of friendly, welcoming, and professional support services, including occasional day care, to assisted living providing the independence many of our residents desire, through to specialist dementia care for those in most need of our support.

They are looking for a Deputy Home Manager to join the supportive team. This is a full-time position, 37.5 hours per week, with a salary of circa £54,000 DOE.

Day to Day:

  • Support the delivery of quality care, working closely with the Home Manager and taking on management duties in their absence.
  • Inspire and manage the team to ensure residents enjoy the best possible care and quality of life.
  • Liaise with the clinical lead, monitor standards through audits, supervised clinical practice, and compliance checks.
  • Set high standards and use your experience and skills to achieve outstanding care.

Requirements for the role of Deputy Home Manager:

  • Previous experience as a deputy or senior nurse, caring for residents with diverse health needs, including advanced dementia.
  • Registered Nurse with an active PIN.
  • Experience managing staff, safeguarding investigations, and clinical risk assessments.
  • Ability to work within staff values, promote them, communicate effectively, be passionate, encourage teamwork, and maintain a positive attitude.
  • Compassionate, an excellent communicator, and committed to delivering quality care while inspiring your team.
