Deputy Headteacher - SEN

Deputy Headteacher at a specialist SEN school committed to an innovative therapeutic approach and a supportive learning environment for pupils. Working alongside a newly appointed Headteacher, you will help shape strategy to enable the school to grow and children to flourish.

You will provide clear leadership across teaching, learning, policies, culture and outcomes as part of the Senior Leadership Team, support recruitment and enable staff development through coaching.

Key Responsibilities

• Set a clear progression plan and track outcomes
• Achieve high quality teaching and learning outcomes for SEN students
• Lead safeguarding and safer recruitment
• Oversee EHCPs, annual reviews and provision mapping
• Embed positive outcomes across the school

Qualifications

• An experienced or aspiring Deputy Headteacher
• QTS and have senior leadership experience in SEN
• Able to impact outcomes for pupils with SEN
• Have strong knowledge of KCSIE and the SEN Code of Practice
• A confident leader of people, curriculum and culture
