Deputy Head Sommelier Yauatcha City & Yauatcha Soho

Yauatcha, part of Hakkasan Group, home to the internationally acclaimed Hakkasan and Yauatcha restaurants, is seeking an experienced and passionate Deputy Head Sommelier to join our team at Yauatcha City & Yauatcha Soho. This is an experienced opportunity to support the Head Sommelier in leading the wine programme within a fast-paced, luxury hospitality environment. You will play a key role in delivering exceptional wine service, and ensuring the highest standards of knowledge and guest experience within a world-class brand.

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience as a Senior Sommelier or Deputy Head Sommelier within a premium restaurant or luxury hospitality environment
• Strong wine knowledge with WSET Level 3 (minimum); WSET Level 4 or equivalent is desirable
• Experience contributing to wine list development, purchasing and stock management
• Strong organisational skills with commercial awareness and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and educate guests
• Proven ability to support, coach, and develop junior team members
• A genuine passion for wine and delivering exceptional hospitality
• Flexibility to work across both Yauatcha locations, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
• Proof of eligibility to work in the UK
