A pride that we hope you will see if you visit us for an interview.YOUR PROFILEAs Deputy Head of Summer Camp, you play a central role in bringing our summer experience to life. Working closely with the Head of Summer Camp, you help create an atmosphere that is warm, inclusive and full of opportunity, a place where young people from around the world feel safe, supported and inspired to grow.You enjoy building positive, meaningful connections with children, families and colleagues from diverse cultural backgrounds. You bring warmth, openness and professionalism to your interactions, and you remain calm, adaptable and solutions-focused, even in the busiest moments of camp life.Your close partnership with the Head of Summer Camp helps take the programme to the next level, positioning it as a premium experience and an exciting introduction to Beau Soleil. You are flexible, enthusiastic and ready to commit extra energy when the camp is at its peak, approaching every challenge with reliability and a strong sense of responsibility.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESCollaborate in the recruitment of campers and maintain warm, timely communication with families and agenciesAssist in planning and refining the camp programme within the approved budgetSupport the recruitment, training and supervision of seasonal staffEnsure camper wellbeing, safety and health each dayApply and monitor risk assessments, safety standards and operating proceduresHelp organise and coordinate events, excursions and themed activitiesCommunicate clearly with parents, campers and agencies throughout the processStay informed about best practices in camp management and child developmentSupport essential administrative and admissions tasks as neededEDUCATION AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree in a related fieldFluent in English; French is a plus and any additional languages are appreciatedStrong IT skills, including experience with CRM systemsEXPERIENCEAt least 3 years' experience in a similar role or youth-focused environmentProven ability to lead, motivate and supervise a team, ideally in a summer camp or similar settingExperience working with children and young peopleExperience in hospitality, events or education is considered an assetPERSON SPECIFICATIONExcellent organisational and time management skillsAbility to build relationships with people from a wide variety of cultural backgroundsAble to work independently and to remain calm under pressureA positive, dedicated and warm personalityFlexible and creative in responding to challengesHOW TO APPLYApplications should be made via Beau Soleil recruitment website and should contain a CV, letter of application and the details of two professional referees.The closing date for applications is Wednesday, 4 March 2026.Successful short listed candidates will be contacted straight away with initial discussions conducted remotely by telephone or video call.Collège Alpin Beau Soleil is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
