Newcastle University Business School is seeking an outstanding academic leader for the role of Deputy Dean. As part of the School Executive Board, you will play a key role in shaping and implementing the School's academic staffing strategy, supporting excellence in research, teaching, and engagement across the School.

You will lead and implement strategies for academic recruitment, development, retention, and performance management. Work closely with Subject Group Heads to build a supportive, high-performing academic environment. Manage academic workload planning, succession, and strategic resourcing and deputise for the Dean, contribute to senior decision-making, and represent the School at Faculty and University level.

You will have a strong academic track record in research and/or teaching, with proven leadership experience in academic management and be committed to academic excellence, staff development, and inclusive leadership.
