Deputy Cook

Consultation grade - subject to formal evaluation under the Pay Equity Review

Working 15 hrs hours per week, Thursday and Friday Term Time Only

As Deputy Cook you will help deliver healthy meals to the children in our school working closely with the team to keep our kitchen running smoothly. Your day-to-day tasks will include:

Responsibilities

• Preparing and cooking meals for pupils
• Deputising in the absence of the Catering Manager
• Supporting all aspects of kitchen service
• Assisting the Catering Manager with the ordering of goods
• Ensuring all food health and safety regulations are followed
• Keeping the kitchen clean and tidy
• Being mindful of dietary and allergen needs

Qualifications

We are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable team player with a passion for food. If you have good verbal and written communication skills, an in-date Food Safety Level 2 certificate, and a "can do" attitude, we would love to hear from you. Experience in a similar environment is desired.
