About Our Client

Reporting directly to the CEO and Chairman, the CFO will play a critical role in steering the company through its next phase of growth, with a strong focus on overseas market expansion and organizational transformation. This is not a traditional finance role - we are seeking a strategic partner who combines financial acumen with exceptional people leadership and soft skills.

Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing financial strategies to support the company's growth objectives
• Work in close partnership among the department heads of the company in various locations internationally
• Overseeing all accounting and finance operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
• Ensuring compliance with local and international financial regulations and standards
• Managing relationships with external stakeholders, including auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities
• Providing financial insights to support key business decisions and improve operational efficiency
• Leading and mentoring the finance team to foster a high-performance culture
• Identifying opportunities for cost optimization and revenue enhancement
• Monitoring cash flow, liquidity, and overall financial health of the organization

The Successful Applicant

• Degree in accounting, finance, commerce, economics or a related business degree
• Proven expertise in financial management in the industrial sector
• Candidates with experience outside of finance including business development, transformation and market expansion projects will be a plus
• Ability to demonstrate leadership and team management capabilities
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities
• An individual who can "think outside the box"
