Job Title - Depot Manager

Location: Carlisle

Days of work: Monday - Friday

Hours: 07:30 - 17:00 (42 hours per week)

We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Depot Manager, preferably with a background in hire or engineering, to oversee our busy depot in Carlisle.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure customer focus in all operations
  • Proactively manage the depot team
  • Drive business growth and deliver excellent customer service
  • Manage health and safety practices
  • Understand and work with profit and loss accounts and budgets
  • Support team development and operational change
Requirements:
  • Experience managing a team
  • Customer-focused attitude
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations
  • Financial acumen including P&L and budgeting
  • Ownership and responsibility mindset
  • Adaptability in a fast-paced environment
  • PC literacy
  • Knowledge of the construction industry and trades
  • Driving license
  • Experience with hire process is an advantage
