Department Head (m/f)For our location in Domdidier with over 450 employees, we are looking for a Department Head (m/f). You are responsible for the performance capability of our production. Your task: ensuring a safe, stable, and high-performance production as well as the further development of our teams according to the industrial standards of tomorrow - a role that has a direct impact on the excellence of our operations.What does the job entail?- Managing the overall performance of a production department and ensuring the achievement of targets- Leading, developing, and coaching a team of 6 direct employees, with responsibility for overseeing a department with more than 45 people- Monitoring capacity, ensuring adherence to planning, and setting priorities- Collaborating in the introduction of new products and operating resources as well as supporting the commissioning of machines and tools- Responsibility for safety, quality, and continuous improvement; structuring the reduction of losses and standardization of processes- Analyzing and consolidating KPIs, implementing action plans, and participating in budget planning (OPEX/CAPEX)What do we expect from you?- Engineer in relevant engineering fields, mechanical engineering, or production or equivalent education- 5 to 10 years of proven experience in a relevant area, with a significant part in team leadership- Solid mastery of Lean methods- Good IT affinity and proficient use of tools such as Office 365 and SAP for controlling metrics, performance tracking, and decision-making- Excellent understanding of quality control, process monitoring, and deviation management- Broad, cross-disciplinary knowledge of industrial leadership with a connecting characterWhat do we offer you?Do you want to work in a modern, technology-oriented, and market-leading company?
