Dental Technician Deputy Manager

A well-established and growing dental laboratory in West Suffolk is seeking an experienced GDC-registered Dental Technician to join the team as a Deputy Lab Manager.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled technician with strong CAD/CAM experience and a background in both Prosthetics and Crown & Bridge who is looking to take the next step in their career. The role would suit someone with excellent technical knowledge who wants to remain hands-on at the bench while stepping into a junior leadership position.

Working closely with the laboratory leadership team, the Technical Lead will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day running of the lab while maintaining high technical standards.

Responsibilities will include:

• Allocating incoming cases across the laboratory team
• Reviewing and signing off completed work to ensure quality standards are met
• Providing technical guidance, mentoring and support to technicians
• Supporting workflow management and operational efficiency within the lab
• Remaining actively involved in bench work and production

The successful candidate will have:

• GDC registration as a Dental Technician
• Strong CAD/CAM experience
• Experience across Prosthetics and Crown & Bridge
• Excellent technical knowledge and attention to detail
• A collaborative approach with the ability to support and guide colleagues

This role is ideal for a technician who is ready to step into a leadership pathway while maintaining a strong hands-on technical role.

• Salary up to £40,000, depending on experience and skillset
