Job Description
In this role, you will manage the end-to-end demand planning cycle, develop reliable forecasts in an SAP/APO environment and align demand with regional sales strategies.
• Owning and maintaining demand forecasts across multiple planning horizons and product hierarchies, ensuring alignment with commercial and regional sales plans. • Leading monthly demand review meetings with sales and account stakeholders to align on forecast inputs and assumptions. • Analyzing historical data to identify trends, seasonality, and demand patterns that inform forecast development. • Collaborating cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Finance to collect qualitative and quantitative inputs to enhance forecast accuracy. • Supporting the monthly S&OP process by preparing forecast reports, variance analyses, and presentation decks for leadership reviews. • Communicating forecast risks and opportunities to key stakeholders, enabling informed business decisions. • Utilizing key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure, monitor, and improve forecast performance and planning effectiveness. • Contribution to the development and continuous improvement of forecasting models and planning tools. • Assisting in broader supply chain initiatives, reporting, and process optimization efforts. Requirements • At least 3 years of experience in demand planning using a forecasting model/tool. • Additional experience in supply chain planning or a related analytical role. • At least 2-3 years of experience working over multiple countries across the EMEA region. • An educational background in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or a related discipline (completed or nearing completion). • A strong understanding of trend identification, forecasting principles, and performance measurement through KPIs. • An analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities to address forecast deviations and supply challenges. • Proficiency in data management, inventory planning, and demand system administration; SAP MRP/APO experience preferred. • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for building effective cross-functional relationships.
