The Role

We are seeking an organised, analytical, and collaborative Demand Planner to join our Supply Chain team in Slough.

In this role, you'll be responsible for leading demand planning activities, managing stock requirements, and ensuring robust forecasting across frozen, ambient, and packaging products. Your work will directly support commercial decision-making, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver the demand planning process, ensuring accurate forecasts and continuous improvement.
• Manage frozen, ambient, and branded packaging stock demand plans.
• Work closely with sales, procurement, marketing, and finance teams to align forecasts with business priorities.
• Cleanse and analyse historical sales data to produce accurate baseline demand profiles.
• Monitor promotions, assess their impact, and adjust forecasts accordingly.
• Collaborate with customers and internal teams on launches, range changes, packaging updates, and promotional activity.
• Facilitate monthly demand review meetings, capturing learnings, opportunities, and agreed actions.

What We're Looking For

Essential:

• Demand planning experience in an FMCG environment.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
• Analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong influencing, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.

Desirable:

• Recognised qualification in supply chain or demand planning.
• Experience with demand planning systems and tools.

Measures of Success:

• Improved forecast accuracy and reduced bias.
• Effective root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions.
• Timely handover of accurate commercial forecasts to stakeholders.
• Consistent demonstration of Rollover/Pilgrim's values.
