Demand Planner - Hybrid (Trident Place, Hatfield / Work from Home) 12-Month FTC

Here at Ocado Logistics, it's our mission to provide an outstanding customer experience for our partners, developing ground breaking technology, opening multiple sites at an accelerating rate, and engaging in exciting global business partnerships-changing the way the world shops, for good.

We are the beating heart of our UK business, operating a network of advanced warehouses and offices to optimise the customer experience and apply our proprietary technology across the supply chain. For our people, we offer a career full of variety, impact, and opportunities where no two days are ever the same.

About the role

We're looking for a Demand Planner to join our Supply Chain team on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract. This hybrid role requires you to be in the office twice a week at Hatfield, supporting both Ocado and Morrisons channels.

As a Demand Planner, you'll ensure the success of your product range, managing forecasts, supplier performance, and key KPIs for availability, waste, and fulfilment. You'll work closely with trading teams, suppliers, and operational teams to keep the supply chain running efficiently while supporting new initiatives like promotions, seasonal planning, and new CFC openings.

You will be
  • Managing demand and forecast planning across 2,500 products to achieve KPIs.
  • Building strong supplier relationships and managing supplier performance.
  • Optimising delivery schedules, buying processes, and inbound efficiency.
  • Analysing trends, supporting promotions, and recommending process improvements.
  • Collaborating across Supply Chain, trading, operations, and project teams.
About you
  • Skilled in demand forecasting, data analysis, and supply chain planning.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and relationship building skills.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and able to make decisions independently in a fast paced environment.
  • Strong Excel and IT skills, with confidence interpreting numerical data.
  • Comfortable working occasional weekends on a rota.
Preferred

Commercial acumen, supplier management experience, and e-commerce/large scale retail supply chain exposure.

At Ocado, we believe in a workplace where everyone feels valued and supported, offering a safe and collaborative atmosphere, award winning recognition, and a comprehensive benefits package:

  • Flexible Hybrid Work: 2 days/week in Hatfield + 30 days/year "work from anywhere."
  • Wellbeing Support: Employee Assistance Programme and dedicated wellbeing apps.
  • Generous Leave: 25 days annual leave, rising to 27 after 5 years, with option to buy more.
  • Pension & Financial Benefits: Up to 7% employer contribution, share schemes, and free shares.
  • Healthcare & Protection: Private medical insurance, income protection, and life insurance.
  • Family Friendly Policies: Maternity, adoption, shared parental, and paternity leave.
  • Perks: 15% discount on savings at top retailers, Cycle to Work Scheme, and shuttle buses.

Please note: This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Candidates must already have the right to work in the UK for the duration of the contract.
