Job Description

Our client in Limerick are seeking an experienced Process Automation Engineer to support the integration of DeltaV on their site. You will work closely with stakeholders and external partners to translate process intent into DeltaV control logic and phases.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate process intent into DeltaV control logic, phases, and operator screens - supporting Emerson Automation
• Work side-by-side with process engineers, operators, and QA
• Build, test, break, and fix automation during FAT, SAT, commissioning, and startup
• Design alarms, interlocks, and safeguards based on user input
• Own automation issues during engineering runs and early GMP batches
• Support changes, deviations, and improvements as the process evolves

Key Requirements

• Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
• 5+ years of relevant engineering experience in automation in a manufacturing environment
• Experience in bio-pharmaceutical or other regulated industries
