Delivery Driver

Delivery Driver (with some in-store work) - Aylesford, GB

Salary: £13.18 per hour
Hours: 35 hours per week (potential for ad hoc overtime of 5 hrs per week)

Job Purpose

You will play a key role in the success of your store by collaborating with in-store colleagues and our UK Sales Team to provide a memorable customer experience to professionals & DIY enthusiasts. You will also carry out customer deliveries to homes and businesses. This role will be largely based in-store, with occasional delivery driving to cover sickness/holidays.

Job Responsibilities

• Play an active part in engagement planning & monthly store meeting sessions.
• Ensure customers receive a warm welcome, an informed conversation & personalised proposal.
• Use our client service tools to ensure a consistent customer experience.
• Support your store's monthly customer contact plan.
• Follow the merchandising plan to restock the shop floor.
• Load the van & plan delivery routes.
• Develop your skills & encourage colleagues to do so using our training tools.

Job Requirements

• Proven experience in a customer service/retail role.
• Valid driving licence (manual license held for at least 2 years).
• Enjoys a collaborative working environment where supporting colleagues is key.
• Calm under pressure.
