Deburr Operator - Glasgow

Are you detail-oriented with a keen eye for precision? We're recruiting a Deburr Operator for our client's Glasgow facility, where you'll play a key role in finishing high-precision metal components to the highest quality standards.

What You'll Do:

As a Deburr Operator, you'll be responsible for preparing and perfecting metal parts by removing burrs, sharp edges, and imperfections. Key responsibilities include:

  • Inspecting components for burrs, sharp edges, and surface defects

  • Operating deburring tools such as hand files, sanders, grinders, and rotary tools

  • Following blueprints, work instructions, and quality standards to ensure precise finishes

  • Using microscopes or magnifiers for detailed deburring work when necessary

  • Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe work area

Qualifications & Experience:
  • Educated to standard grade level

  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity

  • Health & safety conscious

  • Experience working with high-quality precision components is desirable

  • Previous deburring experience is a plus, but full training will be provided
