Deals Tax Assistant Manager, London

Do you have deals tax or corporate/international tax experience?

I'm working with the biggest and best deals tax team in the market. They are looking to hire an Assistant Manager into their London team, to focus on real asset and credit M&A.

This team works on a wide range of transactions advising funds and institutional investors undertaking transactions in the credit sector. Most of these transactions are large scale and involve cross-border structuring.

If you want to be part of the best team in the market, yet be part of a small sub team within that, then this would be a fantastic opportunity for you.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

1. Managing and delivering bespoke tax advice and implications on an ever-changing deal portfolio.
2. Playing a key role in managing and developing relationships with clients and junior members of the team.
3. Working closely with other specialists as well as other parts of PwC in order to best service your client's needs.
4. Be actively involved in business development activities to help identify and research opportunities on new/existing clients.
5. Develop strategies to solve complex technical challenges for our clients.
6. Contributing to the development of your own and the team's technical acumen and keeping up to date with business and economic issues.
7. Collaborating with other members of the team on a wide variety of deals.

Essential skills and experience:

1. Must possess an ACCA, ICAEW, ICAS Qualification (or an international equivalent) or have equivalent work experience. This includes international candidates who qualify through experience in their home country.
2. Evidence of leading complex projects for key clients.
3. Experience of leading and coaching others.
4. Developed communication skills, specifically in negotiating with and influencing others.
5. Experience of handling and delivering multiple projects to meet deadlines.
