The OpportunityThis role sits inside Estates and Facilities, which means one thing:
You are close to the machinery.
You are not theorizing sustainability.
You are helping run it.
- Support delivery of sustainability initiatives across campus
- Help manage timelines, reporting, and implementation
- Coordinate university transport programs
- Promote low-carbon travel optionsDrive participation from staff and students
Contribute to initiatives in:
- Environmental managementEducation for sustainable development
- Campus sustainability operations
- Encourage sustainable habits across the university community
- Use campaigns, events, and communication to shift behavior
- Track performance against sustainability targets
- Produce reports using Excel and Word
- Support data collection and analysis
A practical, organized sustainability starter with people skills.
Core requirements:
- Experience in environmental or transport-related work
- Understanding of environmental and transport legislation
- Strong reporting and data handling skills
- Ability to engage stakeholders and meet targets
Enthusiastic and reliable
Comfortable working across teams
Able to communicate and promote initiatives (including social media)
