Day Centre Support Workers - Newry

Four Day Centre Support Workers required to work in the following Day Centres - Windsor Day Centre/The Laurels based in Newry.

The successful candidates will work as part of a supportive team, providing care and assistance to adults with physical disabilities, sensory impairments, and learning disabilities. This is a rewarding and sociable role involving regular interaction with service users, supporting activities within the centre, and supervising community outings.

This post will start immediately until the end of December 2026, with a possibility of extension. Working hours are Monday to Friday 9am-3.30pm with an hourly rate of £12.75. Previous experience working with learning disabilities and challenging behaviours preferred.

What We Need From You:

• To be NISCC registered, or willing to apply
• Experience within a healthcare setting, preferably with learning disabilities
• Manual Handling will be required for the role
• Be willing to undergo an enhanced Access NI check
