We currently provide services in Limerick, North Tipperary, and Dublin. Avista is a person centred, rights based organisation that is dedicated to improving the lives of children and adults with disabilities. We provide a wide range of services including Day, Residential and Respite supports to both children and adults in various locations across Dublin, Limerick and North Tipperary.

Avista is looking for candidates who are committed to supporting people with Intellectual Disabilities and their families, in a person centred, community based, socially inclusive manner in accordance with our core values and ethos and underpinned by quality, best practice and research.

Day Centre Manager Training Enterprise and Employment Services, Limerick

Salary subject to Relevant Public Sector Experience.

  • Hold a recognised 3rd Level qualification in a health/social care or Nursing division.
  • A minimum of 5 years relevant experience working in a comparable organisation.
  • Have completed a recognised management programme.
  • Leading and managing a team, resources and delivering services.
  • Have experience of supporting people to integrate into their community.
  • Full clean manual Irish driving licence.
  • Proficiency in the English language.
  • Committed to working with families, advocates and MDT members.
  • Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Have a proven track record in managing change.
  • Be familiar with the New Directions policy and its implementation.

Applicants should possess Level 2 behavioural competencies of Avista competency framework.
